Telegram Group Bot Starter Kit (source code)

A moderation and crypto-price bot for Telegram groups, written in Python with python-telegram-bot v22. You download the full source code and run it yourself – configured in one .env file, no code changes needed.

  • Welcome message for every new member, with {name} and {chat} placeholders; admins can change it per group with /setwelcome
  • Captcha: new members are muted until they tap “I’m human” within a set time (default 120 s), otherwise they are removed and can re-join
  • Anti-spam: deletes links from non-admins (with an allow-list of domains) and messages with banned words; mutes users who flood the chat
  • /price <coin>: price and 24h change from the public CoinGecko API, with caching, timeout and friendly error messages; optional API key, common tickers built in, own aliases possible
  • Admin commands as a reply to a message: /ban, /mute [minutes], /unmute, /setwelcome, /stats – only usable by group admins

How custom setup works

  1. Request by email. Click “Request Starter / Pro / Premium” (or email us). Tell us your group, your texts and your coin list – the email is pre-filled. Not sure which package fits? Just ask, we recommend one.
  2. We build and deliver. We configure and build your bot, run its automated test suite, and send you the code, the Docker setup and the step-by-step deployment guide.
  3. You test. You deploy it on your own hosting and try it in your group. The revision rounds of your package are included.
  4. Only then you pay. We email you a NOWPayments link (USDT / USDC) for the package price. Not satisfied after the revisions? You pay nothing.

The Starter Kit and the Crypto Portfolio Tracker work differently: you buy them directly with the buy button and download them right after payment.

Starter Kit or custom setup – which one is for me?

Take the Starter Kit ($19) if you are comfortable creating a bot with @BotFather, editing a .env file and running Python or Docker – the README guides you step by step. Take a custom setup if you want us to configure it for your group, with extras such as scheduled posts or price alerts, and pay only after delivery.

What may I do with the Starter Kit code?

Run and modify it for one bot project or one organisation, in the groups of your own communities. You may not resell, share or publish the source code, or use one purchase for several unrelated projects or clients. See the license summary.

Do you need access to my Telegram account or server?

No. You create the bot with @BotFather and enter the token in the configuration file yourself – you do not need to send it to us. You can revoke and regenerate the token at any time. We also never need access to your server.

Who hosts the bot?

You do – with the Starter Kit and in every custom setup package. You get the code, a Docker setup and a step-by-step deployment guide for a VPS, Railway or Render. Premium includes 30 minutes of email support for setup questions. We do not log in to or deploy on your server. Server costs are paid by you to your provider.

Which coins are supported for price commands?

Coins listed on CoinGecko (public API; an optional free API key raises the rate limits). Very new or illiquid tokens may not have reliable public price data – tell us your list in your request.

Can I pay by card or PayPal?

Not at the moment. Payment is in crypto only.

When do I pay for a custom setup?

Only after delivery and your test. We send you a crypto payment link (USDT / USDC). If we cannot deliver the agreed scope, or you are not satisfied after the included revisions, you pay nothing. See Terms & Legal.

Does the Tracker give buy or sell signals?

No. It only calculates what you enter. It is a record-keeping tool, not advice and not a tax report.
